MULTI-ROOM AUDIO: 4K Video Distribution

At Modus Vivendi we design systems to deliver breath-taking 4K Ultra High Definition picture quality and an incredible entertainment experience into every room of your home. Share your entire movie library and stream video and satellite channels by centralising equipment, creating a clutter-free installation.

Using the Control4 or Crestron Home platforms, we can put you in complete control of your television viewing anywhere in your home using an intuitive handheld remote control at each TV location. The video distribution system will provide instant and simple access to multiple Sky Q set top boxes and Apple TV’s, CCTV, Blu-ray libraries and games consoles, providing the best picture quality available on the TV displays. Depending on the amount of centralised video sources you would like to use, and the amount of TV’s you would like the sources to be displayed on, will dictate the size of the HDMI matrix switch we specify. Pre-configured sizes are available, such as 8x video input to 8x TV display, or alternatively we can customise a unit to your specific requirement. An even more flexible approach is to use a video over IP solution that has the ability to scale further, especially for commercial and hospitality applications where an HDMI matrix simply isn’t the most cost effective and sensible solution.

High performance and high resolution audio where you want it - From discreet integrated ceiling speakers or wall speakers, to those which are works of art in themselves, we can offer the very best solution for your needs. No matter whether you have limited space and require completely invisible speakers, or a bold speaker with statement design, through our vast array of award winning manufacturers we are able to provide custom multi-room speaker systems for your home. We can even provide premium external weatherproof speakers if you want to extend your sound system and deliver great audio outdoors. You will have the ability to combine multiple zones of the same audio source to create a party mode throughout your home, or select different sources of audio in different rooms, allowing members of the household to listen to their own choice of music wherever they want.

For rooms and environments that struggle to perform at their optimum, we can carry out a full review of the rooms characteristics and design a suitable form of acoustic treatment to improve the audio quality. This can be in the form of simple and easy to install attractive acoustic panels, or a complete fabric track system using material of your choice. If the aesthetics of the room are critical, we can provide full high resolution renders where colours and designs can be altered easily until you are completely satisfied with the result. In addition to the renders, we can also provide a VR (virtual reality) tour, so you can literally step in to the room and have a look around!

MULTI-ROOM AUDIO SOLUTIONS: Control

You will be able to browse and select a playlist, album or track via in-wall or portable touch screens and mobile devices, giving visual feedback for artists and track information in a clear and elegant way. Voice activation is another form of control we can also implement via integration with Amazon Echo or Google Home, providing the ability to activate audio with verbal commands without even having to lift a finger. Simply tell Alexa what you want to listen to and where, and away you go!

If a lighting control system forms part of your smart home, we can create scenes or activities that include music, allowing you to enter a room and with a single tap, turn on your favourite radio stations along with a pre-configured lighting scene. With another tap, we can program the keypad to skip, pause or change the volume instantly.
