Our client: We were recommended to the client in Sevenoaks by a project management company that we had previously worked with on a number of projects.
The Brief: The client had purchased a property with the plan to carry out a full renovation, along with extending some of the ground floor. They came to us looking for a multi-purpose entertainment system that would include a high-performance surround sound system, distributed audio and video, in addition to other audio-visual equipment and installation requirements across the house and external grounds.
Our solution: We first invited the client to our Maidstone showroom to demonstrate some of the equipment we felt would be suitable for their project, so they could get a better idea of what was possible. After presenting the Nakymatone speakers and the Control4 control system, they were very impressed and decided to commit to these products, leaving with a better understanding of what they wanted to achieve.
As the client was also working with interior designers to bring their dream property to life, we collaborated with them on their plans to keep the finish of the property sleek and modern, and our equipment discreet. In order to do this, we incorporated invisible in-ceiling speakers and hidden subwoofers within joinery into multiple areas, without sacrificing any audio quality. Within the entertainment space, we were also able to work with the designer to create bespoke in wall speakers and a soundbar for the front wall to match the Arte wallpaper, and again, remain discreet whilst creating a cohesive feel to the room, and bring powerful, immersive audio.
The client required an external audio system to allow them to distribute music across their garden which we were able to deliver. They also requested full Wi-Fi coverage across the property, which we designed via heatmap to predict the zones where Wi-Fi would be required, even reaching as far as the pool house, to distribute super-fast broadband.
In addition, we integrated the lighting control with the house control system for easy management, intercom gate entry to increase security at their property, and a Sonos audio system to stream music across multiple rooms and areas.
